A Design of an Equalized Gaussian Beam Antenna Applied in A Coal Mine Environment

The environment of confined spaces such as tunnels and coal mines is complex changeable. When the wireless signal propagates in it, it will be affected by reflection diffraction shaft wall, which puts forward higher requirements for radiation beam mine antenna. In this paper, corrugated horn antenna model selected to design a whose pattern almost equal Gaussian beam. Starting from expression beam, combined with field formula antenna, effects slot depth, spacing, width opening angle on are analyzed. axial conical designed paper has gain greater than 13dBi frequency band, side lobe level less -25dB, VSWR 1.25 full band. By comparing results show that axially grooved basically coincides under ideal conditions, E H planes -10dB taper 35°. beams same. equalized important guiding significance detection exploration.
